The countdown to mansfield artsfest 2009 is now well underway and we are coming to the end of a hectic period of activity designing a whole range of promotional material and initiating a programme of media relations activity.
The official festival programme and publicity posters are now at print, t-shirts and banner stands are also being printed, and adverts designed and ready to start running in the Mansfield Chad next week.
Adverts are also to be broadcast on Mansfield 103.2fm and a Facebook page has been set up to help create a strong on-line presence.
We have already had a nice page-lead news piece in the Chad this week and have been promised front page space in next week’s Mansfield and Ashfield Observer. We are also hoping for a good mention in the Evening Post’s weekend entertainment section.
Mansfield artsfest 2009 takes place at venues in and around the town between 12th-22nd March, many of the events will be free and tickets for others are on sale now. At least 15 separate events will take place over the 10 days, with performances at The Old Library, Mansfield Museum, The Palace Theatre, Forever Green Art Cafe and Rainworth Methodist Church Hall.
